RUGBY fans planning to watch the Wallabies take on Argentina in the Rugby Championships tomorrow (September 16) at GIO Stadium can travel for free on Canberra’s Blude Rapid 900.
“Just show the driver your game day ticket and you will receive free travel all day on any regular route service,” says acting director of Public Transport Operations Katie Dunn.
Transport Canberra’s Blue Rapid 900 series will depart from Belconnen, Civic, Woden and Tuggeranong Bus Stations every 15 minutes and drop fans off at Haydon Drive, just a short walk up to the stadium.
People travelling from Gungahlin can connect with a Route 900 Rapid service from either Belconnen or City Bus Station.
Free charter services will also run from Tuggeranong, Woden, City, Belconnen and Gungahlin Bus Stations to the game. Return charters will depart the stadium about 20 minutes after the game.
For charter timetables visit transport.act.gov.au or call 13 17 10.
