Goulburn teens charged after robbing elderly woman

TWO teenagers have been charged after an elderly woman was robbed in Goulburn yesterday (August 1), causing her to fall on her face. 

Just after 3.30pm yesterday, police will allege a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl stole a wallet from an elderly woman in Cowper Street, Goulburn.

During the robbery, the 88-year-old woman fell on her face.

She was taken to Goulburn Base Hospital with serious facial injuries and has since been released.

The 17-year-old boy was arrested yesterday and taken to Goulburn Police Station where he was charged with aggravated robbery. The 16-year-old girl was arrested today and charged with aggravated robbery. They have both been refused bail and will appear before a Children’s Court on Monday.
