GRACIETE Ferreira has been elected ACT president of the Master Builders Association, the first female president in the MBA’s 127-year national history.
Ms Ferreira, a general manager of a commercial sub-contractor operating in the ACT and NSW, said: “I am passionate about attracting more female apprentices into the MBA Group Training program and supporting the partners behind our builder and sub-contractor members by providing more networking, support and services that target females working in building businesses.”
Long-serving treasurer Frank Porreca will continue in his role for a further two-year term.
