Harvey Norman warehouse remains closed

THE Harvey Norman warehouse located at Barrier Street, Fyshwick, remains closed after asbestos containing material was found present at the site on Sunday (June 25). 

All other Harvey Norman warehouses in the Fyshwick area remain open and are not affected by this closure such as the Harvey Norman Fyshwick store.

Harvey Norman says it will keep customers, staff and suppliers updated on the process.

Currently, Harvey Norman can confirm the following products are not impacted (regardless of date of purchase or delivery):

  • Bedding such as bed frames, mattresses, bedside tables, sheets, pillowcases and blankets.
  • Computers such as laptops, PC’s, mobile phones and accessories.
  • Rugs.
  • Furniture accessories such as mirrors, ornaments, cushions, lighting and artworks.
  • Indoor dining tables and chairs.
  • BBQ’s and outdoor heating.
  • Home office items such as desks and office chairs.
  • Bathroom items such as tiles, spas, baths, tiles, toilets, laundry sinks and cabinets and taps.
  • Small appliances such as toasters, frypans, irons, electric shavers and electric toothbrushes.
  • Heaters.
  • Vacuums.
  • Fans and air filters.
  • Coffee machines.
