Burglar takes an axe to a bike store

ACT police have released footage that shows a man robbing the Box and Bikes store at Majura Park with an axe. 

The early February break-in was discovered after a security staff member was conducting a patrol around 4.15am of the Majura Park business area when he noticed damage to the front windows of the Box of Bikes store.

The male offender was wearing white shorts, a white top and a baseball cap.

10 Trek bicycles had been stolen from the store, including:

  • 2017 Trek Fuel EX 7 (Red)
  • 2016 Trek Remedy 9 (Purple)
  • 2017 Trek Remedy 8 (Black White)
  • 2017 Trek Top Fuel 9, 8 (Black)
  • 2017 Trek X-Caliber 8 (Black Orange)
  • 2017 Trek X-Caliber 7 (Green)
  • 2016 Trek Emonda SL 5 (White)
  • 2017 Trek Emonda S 5 (Black Red)
  • 2016 Trek Emonda S 5 (Black)
  • Trek Madone Project One Spartacus
