Overall served as Queanbeyan mayor for two terms before the NSW government decided to amalgamate councils across the state.

The Overall group dominated the election, which predominately saw the election of independent candidates. Only Country Labor, with two councillors, returned more than one candidate.

Overall will serve a two-year term until September 2019, where another internal election by the councillors will elect a Mayor to serve until the September 2020 elections.

Trevor Hicks was elected into the role of Deputy Mayor and will serve for 12 months.

The 11 elected members are:

  • Tim OVERALL
  • Trudy TAYLOR
  • Peter BRAY
  • Michele BISCOTTI
  • Trevor HICKS
  • Mark SCHWEIKERT (Liberal)
  • Brian Brown (Country Labor)
  • Radmila Noveska  (Country Labor)
  • Pete HARRISON
  • Kendrick WINCHESTER
  • Peter MARSHALL (Greens)
