Postie loses her bike at knifepoint in Kingston

A FEMALE postal worker was robbed of her bike at knifepoint in Kingston this afternoon.

She was approached by an armed man on Currie Crescent (near the intersection on Giles Street) who demanded the bike. Police say the postie complied and the offender rode away. The bike was later found on Currie Crescent.

Police are looking for a man in his early 20’s, Caucasian in appearance, slim build, with brown hair. He was wearing a T-shirt with a Holden logo and cargo shorts.

Before the incident he was seen in the vicinity of the Kingston shops.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have information that could assist police to call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
