Servo worker dies of stab wounds

JUST before midnight, last night (April 7) a 29-year-old worker at a service station on Bungendore Road in Queanbeyan has died after being allegedly stabbed by two teenagers.

The man was initially found alive with stab wounds when another employee had arrived to work. Emergency services were called but unfortunately the man died at the scene.

No one else was found at the location but damage was caused to the premises.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate two teenagers.

The two boys are believed to be aged about 15 and 16-years-old and are likely to be together.

Members of the public are urged not to approach the teens if they locate them, but to contact Triple zero (000) immediately.
