Siblings break records for breast cancer

[tribulant_slideshow post_id=”147315″]

CANBERRANS have taken to the courts in Lyneham and will come and go until 8pm tonight (May 10) in order to fill the world’s biggest heart with five cent pieces.

“Connie’s Big Heart Project” at Lyneham netball courts, run by the “Love Your Sister” organisation, is hoping to set a world record and along the way raise a further $1 million for the Garvan Institute and breast cancer.

Samuel Johnson and his sister Connie Johnson began raising money after Connie experienced multiple battles with cancer.

Now, at the age of 37 Connie is dying from breast cancer but that hasn’t deterred the siblings to stop raising awareness.

Connie’s Big Heart Project.  Lyneham netball courts, 435 Northbourne Avenue. May 10, from 7am-8pm.
