Smash and grab robbery at Braddon jewellery store

THIEVES smashed a glass door and display cabinets in an early morning, aggravated robbery at Unique Diamonds on Lonsdale Street in Braddon.

At about 4am on Monday, August 21, two offenders smashed the front glass door with a hammer and entered the store.

Police say they smashed the glass cabinets inside the store and made off with a large number of jewellery items.

The first offender was wearing a red beanie, a black and white patterned bandana, a black hooded jumper, black Adidas pants and a black Adidas bum bag.

The second offender was wearing a navy blue hooded jumper, navy blue Adidas brand cap and grey shoes with a cream or yellow coloured sole.

Anyone with information that could assist police should call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
