DIRECTOR Adam Spreadbury-Maher has emailed from London to say that his newest production of “La Boheme” for the King’s Head Theatre has been nominated for the Olivier Awards. As well, he says, the latest winners of the Stella Wilkie Award, named after the late Canberra theatre identity, will stage a show at the King’s Head in July.

GOOD news that “Country, for Nation”, the War Memorial’s first exhibition dedicated exclusively to exploring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stories of military service, will tour nationally until 2021. The exhibition features 60 works of art by 32 artists.

TOBY Cole says that this year’s Handel in the Theatre opera will be “Susanna”, to be staged in September by The Street Theatre director, Caroline Stacey, who is working with the company for the first time.
