THE Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House normally celebrates its nation’s heroes but for these school holidays it’ll be turning its attention to the world of superheroes.
Aimed at small people who enjoy wearing capes while they do good, the “super hero master classes” are running at MoAD next week with the idea of helping children discover their “inner super hero”.
Using recycled materials, young participants will have the opportunity to design their own super hero costume in preparation for saving the world.
This workshop is suitable for children aged five-years and over with an accompanying adult.
Cost is $10 per child and $2 per accompanying adult, and includes museum entry with access to all the other exciting activities on offer these school holidays.
Super Hero Master Classes, Museum of Australian Democracy, 10am–11.30am, Monday, July 9 to July 13. Bookings to moadoph.gov.au
