CHRIS Latham’s music project “Flower of War” is coming to an end with its penultimate performance “The Lost Jewels”, which will feature soprano Louise Page, pianist Edward Neeman, the Sculthorpe String Quartet and Luminescence Chamber Choir. Music by composers lost to war or disease is combined with the projected images of paintings by artists who died during World War I. ENSEMBLE Romantico is in Australia for the first time, with violinist Hanna Yu from the ANU Open School of Music and pianist Ju-Hae Chang from KonKuk University in South Korea, who will be leading the group as they play works by Dmitri Shostakovich, Max Bruch, Antonin Dvorak, Hyo-Shin Na and Elena Kats-Chernin.
