A VICTORIAN man was busted with 18 kilograms of cannabis yesterday (June 4) when an ACT police officer made a traffic stop of the ute he was driving in Belconnen.
The driver, 41, gave consent to a search being conducted of his ute, and during the search, three large bags of cannabis were found in a compartment in the back tray of the vehicle.
The man was arrested and charged with possession of a trafficable quantity of a prohibited substance.
He will face the ACT Magistrates court this morning.
