Driver strikes down man in O’Malley

A MAN has serious injuries after a driver drove at him, striking him in O’Malley.

The driver was allegedly part of a “road rage” incident, which took place between a small blue car and a truck near Canberra Hospital at about 11am on Thursday, July 26.

During the incident, the truck and car drove to the intersection of Hindmarsh Drive and Tyagarah Street, O’Malley, where the driver of the truck got out of his vehicle.

The car then drove at the man, striking him and causing serious injuries.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information, witnessed the incident or has any dash-cam footage that could assist police to contact 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website using reference number 6291179.
