Easter bin collection: are you affected?

BIN collections (waste and recycling) scheduled for Good Friday (Friday, March 30) will take place the following day, on Saturday, March 31.

garbage truckSuburbs affected by this change are: Acton, Ainslie, Barton, Braddon, Campbell, City, Deakin, Dickson, Downer, Forrest, Franklin, Fyshwick, Griffith, Gungahlin, Hackett, Harrison, Hughes, Kingston, Lyneham, Narrabundah, O’Connor, Pialligo, Red Hill, Reid, Throsby, Turner and Watson.

All other collections will occur as per the current schedule.

All waste facilities will be closed on Good Friday including all businesses operating within the Resource Management Centres of Hume and Mitchell.

The recycling drop off centres are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
