Franklin man bites police officer

A FRANKLIN man, 31, has been arrested after he bit a police officer in the forearm.

It’s alleged that the man turned his head towards the police officer, who was attempting to put him in a police car, and bit him at about 8pm last night (March 4). The man then tried to bite the police officer for a second time.

He will face the ACT Magistrate’s Court this morning (March 5) for assault.
