Group threatens driver for keys in afternoon robbery

A CAR has been stolen from Ainslie Football Club car park on Tuesday (February 27) after a group of people, two of which had weapons, demanded the keys from the driver. 

The three victims reported the robbery to police at about 3.40pm, not long after they were approached by about four people, who took the keys to the victims maroon Ford Falcon G6E.

It’s alleged a man was in the group had a weapon on him and a woman had a knife.

Police believe the offenders may have arrived in a back Holden Commodore.
