A STAFF member was threatened with a knife by a man, who, with a woman has been stealing baby formula and vitamins from two Woolworths in Canberra.

Man and woman robbed Woolworths in Mawson and Bonner.
The first robbery happened at about 5.40pm on February 24, when the man and woman entered Woolworths, Bonner. They placed items into backpacks such as baby formula and vitamins, and left without making payment in a blue sedan.

The man is described as having tattoos on his face and body with cuts on his face. He was wearing shorts, a singlet, a cap and sunglasses. The woman was wearing a blue shirt and leggings. On both occasions her red dyed hair was worn in a ponytail.

Then, at about 1.39pm on Saturday, March 10, the same man and woman entered Woolworths, Mawson, and placed items into a suitcase, including baby formula and vitamins.

While leaving the premises, the man threatened a staff member with a knife before both offenders fled in a black BMW sedan.
