Storms: all over bar the cleaning up

THE Bureau of Meteorology is not predicting any further significant rain events today, leaving ACT State Emergency Service, ACT Fire & Rescue, ACT Rural Fire Service and NSW State Emergency Service having responed to more than 200 requests for assistance.

Four teams from NSW State Emergency Service are assisting the ACT with the clean up.

Parks and Conservation Service rangers have assisted rural lessees in the Woolshed Creek and Sullivans Creek areas, who were most affected by the rain.
