Video shows man threaten cashier with kitchen knife

Man robs North Lyneham Mini Mart.
A VIDEO had been released showing a man threaten the cashier from the North Lyneham Mini Mart with a kitchen knife. 

He entered the store at about 12.40pm on Saturday, March 17, where he threatened the staff member, demanding cash.

The cashier handed over money from the register, and the man left on foot, crossing Cossington Smith Drive in the direction of Ginninderra Drive.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 165-170cm (5’5” to 5’7”) tall and of skinny build with dark brown hair just above shoulder-length and a thin moustache.

He was wearing a “Red Bull Racing” brand cap, a black jacket with white stripes on the cuffs and waistband, black trousers or jeans and black sneakers. He was carrying a black and grey backpack.

Police are urging anyone who may be able to identify the offender or who has any information that could assist police to contact 1800 333000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au using reference number 6245214.
