<headline>Man punched and robbed in Deakin home invasion</headline>
<body><p><strong>A Deakin man was allegedly punched by two men armed with a hammer and knife who forced their way into his home late on Saturday night.</strong></p>
<p>The two men demanded the resident’s car keys and wallet, punching him twice, before fleeing in a grey Mitsubishi Triton ute and a black Nissan Navara ute.</p>
<p>Early on Sunday morning a police patrol in Holt located the Mitsubishi Triton in front of a residence. Officers spoke to the occupants and, after reviewing CCTV footage from the home invasion, arrested a 35-year-old man.</p>
<p>Police have charged him with aggravated burglary with the intent to commit theft and aggravated robbery in company.</p>
<p>The identity of the second man is still being investigated.</p>
