<body><p><strong>Passengers will travel free for at least six weeks as Transport Canberra upgrades its ticketing system on buses and trams from September 20Â </strong></p>
<p>The ACT government says that after months of development and testing, the new MyWay+ validators are ready to be installed on buses and along the light rail alignment.</p>
<p>As a result, the current MyWay and NXTBUS real time systems will no longer be available from September 20.</p>
<p>Bus and light rail services will continue to operate as per the scheduled timetable and frequency, however people will not need to pay during the transition period to MyWay+.</p>
