<headline>Speeding dad caught with 3-year-old in the back</headline>
<body><p><strong>One of two drivers caught street racing in Coombs had a small child in the car at the time.</strong></p>
<p>At about 9.30pm on September 8 a police patrol in Coombs spotted two vehicles racing along Cotter Road.</p>
<p>A blue Volkswagen Golf and a black Nissan Skyline were weaving in and out of traffic before continuing along John Gorton Drive.</p>
<p>When police stopped the driver of the Volkswagen, they discovered the 35-year-old man from Denman Prospect had his three-year-old daughter in the back seat.</p>
<p>Police seized his vehicle, and he will face court at a later date for aggravated racing.</p>
