<body><p><strong>A 45-year-old man was arrested and charged with choking and slapping his partner in Fadden on Saturday afternoon.</strong></p>
<p>Police say the man allegedly began arguing with the coupleâ€™s child, his partner intervened and the man then confronted her, slapping her in the face before choking her.</p>
<p>The man was arrested in Chisholm later that evening and charged with choking, suffocating or strangling another person and common assault.</p>
