Britpop sensation Oasis are bringing their reunion tour to Australia, with concerts Down Under for the first time in two decades.

"People of the land down under. You better run-you better take cover... We are coming. You are most welcome," the band posted on X on Tuesday morning.

Liam and Noel Gallagher will play at Melbourne's Marvel Stadium on October 31, 2025 followed by Sydney's Accor Stadium on November 7, backed by touring giant Live Nation.

Registration to buy tickets has opened online, with pre-sales open on Monday, and general sales starting the following day.

Oasis was one of the top bands of the Britpop wave of the 1990s and enjoyed huge success in Australia with their singles on high rotation on radio playlists.

Competition for tickets will be intense. The band sold 500,000 tickets in an hour for their North American tour dates, which immediately sold out.

The Wonderwall rockers announced the first international dates for their much-anticipated Oasis Live '25 reunion tour last week and tickets for the the shows in Toronto, Chicago, New Jersey, Los Angeles and Mexico City were rapidly snapped up.

It will be the first time that Oasis have performed in North America and Mexico since 2008 when they toured their seventh studio album Dig Out Your Soul - which was brought to an abrupt end the following year as Noel Gallagher quit the band in the wake of a backstage bust-up with younger brother Liam Gallagher as they were due to perform in Paris.

The Britpop icons have already sold out 19 stadium shows across the UK and Ireland next summer.

Just days ago, billboards appeared across the country reading "Australia: It's your shout!", announcing tour dates would be revealed at 8am (AEDT) on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Gallagher brothers are set to cash in on the reunion tour with a string of merchandise and have "covered everything" from fly swatters to ironing boards with their new trademark.

A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "They have big plans for merchandise.

"Millions of people wanted to get tickets to the shows and Oasis know they'll also be splashing the cash on branded stuff.

"The new trademark is for Oasis Live '25 and covers everything.

"Clothes pegs and Christmas wreaths, deodorants and moisturisers are also listed."

Liam has also joked about the prospect of Oasis going on an "old dears" tour with Britpop rivals Blur.

The 52-year-old musician posted on X in reply to a fan: "I love Blur and at some point we have to do n old dears tour (sic)."
