<headline>Man charged with assaulting and strangling partner</headline>
<body><p><strong>A 22-year-old Holder man is facing court after allegedly strangling and assaulting his partner on Saturday night.</strong></p>
<p>Police say that throughout the evening, the man became aggressive towards the woman following a disagreement at their home.</p>
<p>The allege he pushed her to the ground, strangled her and dragged her by her hair. When she attempted to leave, the man is accused ofÂ  pushed her against a wall, strangling her, and hiding her car keys.</p>
<p>The woman managed to flee the residence and called the police.</p>
<p>By about 11pm, the man was under arrest and charged with two counts of strangling, forcible confinement, and aggravated common assault.</p>
