<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">Canberra has lost one of its recently introduced international airlines with </span><span class="s1">Batik Air "pausing"</span> its connection to Bali, citing operational changes.</strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The airline started flying between Denpasar and Canberra in June.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Its inaugural flight was controversial – the aviation regulator started to investigate why the plane deviated from the route, falling below altitude minimums prior to landing.</span></p>
<p class="p1">Canberra Airport says it's disappointed – but understands the carrier has faced operational challenges.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">It means only one airline – Fiji Airways –  is now flying internationally into Canberra.</span></p>
