<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?> <docID>335331</docID> <postdate>2024-12-14 15:00:45</postdate> <headline>Kicking, biting, scratching: woman is arrested</headline> <body><p><strong>A 36-year-old woman has been charged with assaulting police following a dispute with her neighbour in Taylor on Friday night.</strong></p> <p>At about 3pm police responded to a dispute between the woman and her neighbour, but returned 7.20pm after the woman breached an undertaking to keep the peace by allegedly spraying her neighbour’s home with a hose and yelling abuse.</p> <p>Police say they attempted to speak to the woman but one officer was bitten by her dog when she went inside.</p> <p>She was arrested, but allegedly injured two officers during the process, kicking at them before being handcuffed.</p> <p>While in custody at the ACT Watch House, police say the woman allegedly assaulted officers again, biting one on the arm and scratching another on the hand.</p> <p>She has been charged with two counts of assaulting a frontline community service provider, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and other offences.</p> </body>
