<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?> <docID>335844</docID> <postdate>2024-12-24 11:43:10</postdate> <headline>Man faces strangling charge on partner</headline> <body><p><strong>A 28-year-old man is accused of attacking his partner, strangling her and forcing her to the ground as well as kicking and hitting her several times at a home in Denman Prospect last week.</strong></p> <p>Police say the woman used a pair of scissors to defend herself and stabbed the man in the arm, resulting in minor injuries.</p> <p>He has been charged with 12 counts of aggravated common assault and choking, suffocating or strangling another person.</p> </body>
