<p><strong>A suspended 20-year-old P-plate driver will face court next month after being caught speeding and drink driving in Amaroo on Thursday morning.</strong></p>
<p>Police were patrolling Horse Park Drive early in the morning when they clocked a red Mazda 2 travelling at 101km/h in a 60km/h zone.</p>
<p>The woman was taken to Gungahlin Police Station where she recorded a Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) of 0.140.</p>
<p>She was was issued an Immediate Suspension Notice, suspending her ACT drivers licence for 90 days, and she an Infringement Notice for $700 and eight demerit points – due to the double demerit period.</p>
<p>She was also served a Court Attendance Notice to appear in the ACT Magistrate’s Court on two charges of drink driving and driving while suspended by law.</p>
