Photo: NSW Police</caption> <p><span class="kicker-line">By <strong>Jack Gramenz</strong></span></p> <p><strong>Agencies involved in the 12-day search for a missing bushwalker will provide an update a week after the last signs of him were found in Australia's high-country.</strong></p> <p>Hadi Nazari, 23, has not been seen since he began descending the Hannels Spur trail in the Kosciuszko National Park near Geehi, between Khancoban and Thredbo in the NSW Snowy Mountains region about 2.30pm on Boxing Day.</p> <p>The Melbourne man was reported missing by two friends after he did not arrive at the campground where they planned to meet.</p> <p>A large-scale search has been underway since December 27 with hundreds of rescuers scouring the terrain.</p> <p>There has been no sighting of Mr Nazari but rubbish and hiking poles believed to have belonged to him were found during the search on New Year's Eve.</p> <p>With the search due to enter its 12th day on Tuesday, senior NSW Police and the SES are expected to provide an update on the ongoing efforts about 11am.</p> <p>The search has also involved the state's National Parks and Wildlife Service as well as volunteers, battling heat and humidity in the rugged terrain in a bid to find Mr Nazari.</p> <p>Efforts have included specially trained searchers camping overnight and other experts being winched in by aircraft to more quickly access hard-to-reach parts of the park.</p> <p>The Hannels Spur trail, with its 1800m elevation change, is regarded as one of Australia's most difficult bushwalking routes.</p> </body>
