<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?> <docID>336374</docID> <postdate>2025-01-11 11:42:40</postdate> <headline>Florey man faces family violence charges</headline> <body><div id="component_276228"> <p><strong>A 30-year-old Florey man is facing family violence offences and resisting police.</strong></p> <p>The man approached a woman known to him. When she attempted to leave, he allegedly began making threats towards her, shaking and punching her car window at about 9pm on Friday night.</p> <p>The woman started receiving calls later in the evening from the man who allegedly continued to make threats, which she reported to police.</p> <p>Early on Saturday morning police attempted to engage with the man at his Florey home, however he refused to unlock the front door before he broke through a window and jumped the fence into a neighbouring property.</p> <p>He was eventually arrested and charged with two counts of using a carriage service to menace, attempting to escape from arrest, escaping from arrest and resisting police.</p> </div> </body>
