(HANDOUT/NSW POLICE)</caption> <p class="wire-column__preview__author"><span class="kicker-line">Sydney</span></p> <p><strong>An investigation into a spate of anti-Semitic attacks in Sydney's east has stepped up after police linked the incidents and identified two men of interest.</strong></p> <p>Hateful graffiti was sprayed on a school in Maroubra and at a shopping centre in Eastgardens, while two homes were also targeted last month.</p> <p>NSW Police believe all the incidents are linked.</p> <p>They want to speak to two men seen in CCTV footage in a white SUV in the vicinity of the attacks.</p> <p>On January 30, officers were called to multiple locations in Sydney's east following reports of malicious damage.</p> <p>Police went to a school on Runic Lane, Maroubra, a nearby home on Hannan Street and the Eastgardens shopping centre on Bunnerong Road, where they found multiple forms of anti-Semitic graffiti.</p> <p>On the same day officers were called to a home on Sparks Street, Eastlakes, where they found more anti-Semitic graffiti.</p> <p>The investigation was taken over by the NSW Police anti-Semitism taskforce, Strike Force Pearl.</p> <p>The passenger in the car is described as being a man of Caucasian appearance, with a thin build who was last seen wearing a blue jumper with an orange liner, a white medical mask, dark pants and brown shoes.</p> <p>The driver is described as having a large build and was last seen wearing dark clothing and a baseball cap.</p> </body>
