<headline>Man extradited over Narrabundah assault</headline>
<body><p><strong>A 38-year-old man has been charged with assaulting his partner at her home in Narrabundah, striking her in the face repeatedly on Tuesday evening.Â </strong></p>
<p>When the woman called for help the following morning, police allege the man grabbed her phone and assaulted her, striking her in the head eight times.</p>
<p>Once police got to the home a short time later, the woman was taken to hospital.</p>
<p>The man was arrested near Tarago, NSW, on Saturday and extradited to the ACT , where he faces family violence charges including two counts of aggravated assault occasioning actual bodily harm and aggravated common assault.</p>
