<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?> <docID>341369</docID> <postdate>2025-03-29 10:46:09</postdate> <headline>Man charged with serious injuries to schoolboys</headline> <body><div> <p><strong>A 31-year-old Victorian man has been charged with multiple offences following two collisions on Canberra Avenue on Friday morning.</strong></p> </div> <div> <p>Two teenage boys were seriously injured after the green Holden Commodore station wagon he was driving collided with a vehicle, before hitting two teenage pedestrians outside St Edmund’s College.</p> <div></div> <p>Police say the driver drove away before coming to a stop on Canberra Avenue near the Manuka shops. He then allegedly attempted to run off but was detained by members of the public before being arrested by police.</p> </div> <div> <p>The Holden Commodore station wagon was allegedly stolen earlier in the morning in Sutton.</p> </div> <div> <p>The 31-year-old Warrenheip man, who was subject to interstate parole and bail conditions, was charged with offences including unlicensed driving, driving a motor vehicle without consent, dangerous driving, and two charges of negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.</p> </div> <div></div> <div> <p>Police investigators urge anyone who may have footage of the vehicle or who witnessed the incident to come forward.</p> </div> <div></div> <div> <p><em>Call 1800 333000, or via the <a href="https://www.crimestoppersact.com.au/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Crime Stoppers ACT website.</a></em></p> </div> </body>
