POLICE, last night, found an attacker hiding in a cupboard in the house next door to the one he had just robbed.
The incident happened at 10.30pm yesterday, at a house in Lyneham where a man suffered from serious facial laceration and possible fractures.
Police said the victim was able to identify his alleged attacker, whom police located a short time later hiding inside a cupboard in a neighbouring house.
During the search of the attacker, police found stolen items belonging to the victim.
The 28-year-old Lyneham man was taken to the ACT Watch House and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, burglary, resist arrest and make threats towards a Commonwealth Official.
