Big draws crowd to NGA

ALL Canberrans can take part in the Big Draw on Sunday at the National Gallery of Australia.

The annual event is free and gives people the opportunity to showcase their creative talent with 22 workshops located throughout the Gallery.

Activities include, drawing live models, a three-hour drawing performance by renowned Melbourne-based artists Gabriella Mangano and Silvana Mangano, musicians performing pieces inspired by the Gallery’s collection and a tableau that will introduce visitors to a major work of art which will be viewed in the forth coming Renaissance exhibition.

Big Draw at the National Gallery of Australia from 11am to 2pm on Sunday September 25. All ages (children to be accompanied by adults) and all materials supplied.
