Broadband within reach

GUNGAHLIN’s national broadband network roll-out will begin in October with services expected to begin 12 months after.

Around 3,000 first release sites in Gungahlin will receive the high-speed broadband.

“This will be very welcome news for the people of Gungahlin who have endured ongoing broadband problems,” Chief Minister Katy Gallagher said.

“Effective broadband is critical to the educational, economic and social aspirations of the ACT. It is very pleasing to see the high internet needs of the Gungahlin community have been recognised by the Commonwealth Government and that this community will continue to grow and prosper, aided by very high-speed broadband connection.”
