MELBOURNE Cup preparations are in full swing at Thoroughbred Park – but it’s not just about the race that stops the nation.

On Tuesday at Thoroughbred Park there will be more than $6000 worth of prizes up for grabs for the most fashionable punters who compete in Myer Fashions on the field.

The recently refurbished Myer stage, will see men and women compete in a series of heats for classic ladies racewear, classic mens racewear and classic couples racewear.

CLASSIC LADIES RACE WEAR
1st Prize – sash, $500 Myer gift card, Novotel voucher (incl breakfast and dinner – value $900), $500 cash, floral arrangement, Rachael Lang gift voucher worth $400, Myer gift hamper;
2nd Prize – $250 Myer gift card; and
3rd Prize – $100 Myer gift card

CLASSIC MENS RACE WEAR
1st Prize – sash, $300 Myer gift card, Myer gift hamper, $200 cash;
2nd Prize – $150 Myer gift card; and
3rd Prize – 100 Myer gift card

CLASSIC COUPLES RACE WEAR
1st Prize – sash x 2, $300 Myer gift card, $200 cash, Myer gift hamper, floral arrangement;
