Controlled burn in Kambah

Controlled burnA CONTROLLED burn will take place today at McTaggart Place in Kambah.

The Department of Territory and Municipal Services has said safety is of paramount importance.

“Experienced fire managers, supported by trained fire-fighters, will conduct the burning operations,” TAMS said in a statement.
“Temporary smoke cover may occur. Every effort is made to conduct the burns in weather conditions that will minimise the impact of smoke in the area.”
