Enough of a police presence much?
I’m so proud to be Australian paying this much tax for I know when one single dead man is found…. why I even waste my time I do ponder.

Would you rather 1 policeman, not dressed in uniform, walk to the crime scene, with no training, no experience, no guidance, and say ‘Yep theres another one?’.

Surely there is a reason for the police’s presence. Surely they all have a job to do. And surely, the person who did commit this terrible crime, assuming it was a ‘homocide’, would be shaking in their boots.

I am glad there is a heavy police presence, as hopefully it will mean whoever commited this crime gets caught. This is what tax payers money should be spent on, not things like bringing Oprah to the country.

Grant T – What a strange man you must be… I as an Australian am proud to pay my taxes to put towards the police force, I would be worried if there were not a full team of investigators on the scene, a man is dead. Have some respect!!

I merely meant that the 20 or so police vehicles is somewhat overzealous.
One would have assumed the same would have been possible with less resources.

So now you determine what police resources are needed for a murder investigation? I m sure if it were a member of your family or a friend then you would be whinging that not enough was being done. So Canberran..

The murderer(s) need(s) to be caught as soon as possible employing as much force as it is feasible and necessary. More importantly, there should have an exemplary punishment for murder as this is, to me, the highest possible crime on earth; otherwise similar crimes may grow in numbers especially with growing number of unemployments and financial crisis all over the world. 000 service should also be improved with modern location based tracking systems and prompt presence of police on the spot.

C’mon with the amount of crime that happens in that area, something like this was bound to happen. there is usually a big story behind it! and you never know the truth, how can we actually assure our safety in the city? and what if they dont find the killer?
