Caught drunk nine times

A 49-year-old Latham man, who had previously been caught for drink driving eight times, was caught again last night for drink driving.

The man was stopped by police at 10.15pm, during a patrol on Hardwick Crescent, Holt when they saw a grey Ford Laser quickly enter the West Belconnen Leagues Club car park.

A roadside breath analysis of the driver was positive and he was taken to the Belconnen Police Station, where he returned a breath alcohol reading of 0.132.

Police also found the man had a disqualified licence. He will face the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.
