Faking it

AS much as we love pure porcelain-toned skin, there are times when a girl just looks better with a tan.

A beautiful bronze glow is a quick way to kick-start your best looks this party season – whether it’s going to the races, a wedding or simply heading to a barbecue.

The only safe way to tan is to fake it, but keep it natural-looking – nothing will ruin your look more than an tandoori tan!

For best results, apply to clean, dry and exfoliated skin with long even

strokes. Rub some baby oil into your elbows, knees and ankles before applying sparingly to these areas. Wash hands thoroughly after use and wait 15 minutes before dressing (and about four hours before exercising or showering if you can).

“CityNews” has tracked down some of the best self-tanning and bronzing products for the face and body.
