Indie rockers at Summernats

Children Collide, indie rock favourites of the Triple J Hottest 100, are looking forward to performing at their first Summernats.
DRAPHT and Children Collide will headline next year’s Summernats 25 Friday night concert.

In 2012, Summernats turns 25 and organisers said to celebrate they are kicking off “the next 25 years with a fantastic music line-up alongside Australia’s most awesome street machines.”

Also included in the line-up is Nat Col and the Kings and The Screaming Jets.

“It’s a great line-up to celebrate the 25th birthday of the festival,” Summernats promoter Andy Lopez said.

“Acts like Drapht and Children Collide are there for the younger crowd, and we hope they’ll attract some new fans to the Nats.

“We got The Screaming Jets for our traditional, hard rocking Summernats fanbase.

“The Jets are celebrating their 21st birthday in 2012, and have been a Nats favourite since they played here in 2010.

Summernats Saturday night concert will be headlined by iconic Aussie rockers The Screaming Jets, making their second appearance at Summernats after rocking the crowd in 2010.
“Our crowd has been demanding we bring the Jets back from about 15 minutes after they came off stage at Summernats 23.”

Summernats 25 will be held at Exhibition Park in Canberra from the January 5 to 8 2012.
