Now it’s Rod and Biggzy!

MIX 106.3 will make its third breakfast line-up change in six months with the announcement Rod Cuddihy will be joining Carla “Biggzy” Bignasca in the early morning timeslot in January.

According to Mix the move is “part of Mix 106.3’s on-going review to build Canberra’s favourite local radio station”.

“Rod is 37 years old, right in the MIX 106.3 target demographic, he has a wealth of radio experience to bring to MIX 106.3 and a pretty amazing track record,” MIX 106.3 content director Drew Chapman said

“Rod has won three Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs), and has anchored successful breakfast shows right around the country in places like Dubbo, Townsville, the NSW Central Coast and Perth.”

Biggzy and former breakfast host Pete Curulli joined Mix breakfast in July, replacing the popular Cam Sullings and Lisa Ridgley show. Curulli made a shock departure in November after he indicated to managemnet that he’d like to move back to the drive-time slot.

Since then Joe Gleeson was trialled for the position, however will now be returning to the drive after Pete Curulli’s departure to B105 in Brisbane.

The current line-up of Karina Rappel and Cam Sullings during the day will remain. The new changes will come into effect from Monday January 9.
