Police chase thief

POLICE are searching for a man – pictured below – in relation to a spate of thefts from pay-parking machines at Westfield Shopping Centre in Belconnen.

The thefts resulted in significant damage and stolen cash. Police said the man was seen leaving the area in the company of two men.

Police believe the man may provide information in relation to three aggravated burglaries at the Weston Club between November 2010 and March 2011.

Anyone who works in Westfield Belconnen and has to park there daily is already being robbed. No sympathy for the “victims” of this particular crime.
