A RIFLE and a shotgun was stolen yesterday afternoon from a house in Hackett.
Police were called to a house on Steel Street at around 3.55pm, where a secure gun locker in the home’s garage broken into and two registered firearms stolen. The firearms stolen were a BRNO model .22 calibre rifle with scope and a Simpson SUHL side by side barrel shotgun.
Witnesses of any suspicious activity around Steele Street in Hackett are to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or visit www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
