Short+Sweet winners

WINNERS of Canberra’s Short+Sweet festival have been announced.

The festival, considered “the biggest little play festival in the world”, included a selection of 10-minute plays written, directed and acted by local performers. Canberra’s festival ran for two weeks at The Courtyard Studio.

Best Production – “Why The World Needs Unicorns” directed by Steph Roberts
Best Script – “Coke” by Duncan Ley and Duncan Driver
Best Director – Louiza Blomfield – “The V-Word”
Best Actor – Dave Evans, “The V-Word”
Best Actress – Naomi Milthorpe, “Why The World Needs Unicorns”
People’s Choice Award – “The V-Word”[/box]
