The agreement will see TransACT provide fibre-to-the-premise broadband services to customers over the NBN.

“As an RSP on the NBN we will continue to deliver superior products and services to our customers, complementary to our existing networks in the ACT and regional Victoria,” said TransACT CEO Ivan Slavich.

TransACT joins other RSPs signed up to deliver services under the NBN including: iiNet, Internode, iPrimus, Telstra, AAPT, AARNet, Comscentre, Exetel, Nextgen Networks, Optus, Platform Networks, SkyMesh and Vodafone.
TransACT currently supplies telecommunication services to more than 50 Federal and State government agencies, 150,000 product customers and 5000 small-to-medium enterprises.
